The Animal In You

1) Keep your prints no larger than the size of your palm. Most people choose tighter prints of cheetah and leopard because it looks chic and sexy. Forget Giraffes. And trust me, you don't want to be a Fresian cow either.

2) Only solid and basic colors are mixed to match animal prints. You will look good if you pick animal prints in subdued orange tones and pair your prints with solid neutrals in black, white, beige or khaki.

3) Prints draw attention, so wear them wisely. Put an animal print belt around a tiny waist, or tie an animal print scarf above some great cleavage. Animal prints can accentuate your assets!

4) Wear everything simple, sleek and stylish. Avoid wearing pants, jackets, coats, short skirts, etc. of animal print patterns. Get an animal print blouse in a muted shade. Worn under a classic power suit, it will be perfect for your office wear. You can even shed your jacket for an evening dinner and drinks later!

5) Accessorize with leopard prints! Fur-trimmed purses, pumps, scarves and belts glam up classic pieces like denim beautifully. If you are going for a glamorous evening ensemble, a leopard print dress will look slinky and luxurious with matching gold and black accessories!

4 Rules For Mixing Shirts & Ties

Ever wondered how to get the best dress style when mixing patterned shirts with patterned ties? Here are some quick and easy rules:

Rule No. 1 - Match the colour of your shirt with the pattern of your tie

Rule No. 2 - Repeat Colours In Each Pattern

Rule No. 3 - Vary Weights Between Patterns

Rule No. 4 - Match Smaller Patterns With Larger Ones

Great In Gauchos

See how to make your gauchos work in different ways...

Simplest form of all - wear a sexy camisole with matching accessories.

Match a simple top of the same fabric.

This combo gives you a feminine yet casual look. Make sure your whites are of the same shades.

A sash comes in handy to give a simple outfit a dash of colour!

Thinking of wearing Gauchos to work? Add layers on top and matching pumps or boots.

Looking Bright in Whites

Here are some ways to put your white shirt to good use!

1) Going to the beach? Pair your white shirt with a pair of bright sexy shorts.
2) Be bold! Add a scarf, a big ribbon, a tie to give it a contemporary look!
3) White shirts will never go wrong with a pair of good jeans.

Pretty In Pinks

Aahh…fuchsia pink - one of my favourites.

1) Group your outfit in the same family of colours. Hot pinks and purples will look fabulous with denim blue, white, grey or black.

2) Pick an eye-catching pink or purple accessory to match it with your top – a fuchsia bracelet, a violet sports watch or a pair of pretty lavender sandals.

3) Try Layering - With a hot mini tee, you can layer it with a sexy, tight-fitting vest or a mini shrug in black or white.

Frilly tops give you the instant feminine look! Let your top be the focus of attention and you will be able to pull it off easily with any simple bottom. Try these combinations:

1) Boot-cut jeans with a pair of stilettos will visually elongate you and make you look inches taller!
2) For a more formal look, wear it with a good quality pants or skirt and pair it with an attractive pumps!
3) Leggings look great with tops that hit just below your hip line.
4) Choose Capri pants and a pair of pretty sandals for a casual look.

Glow In Yellow

I know Sesame Street's Big Bird isn’t what you have in mind. But there is a shade of yellow that will flatter you.

1) Choose the Right Shade

To determine which yellow shade is most appropriate for your hair and skin tone, experiment with different shades of yellow fabric by holding them up to your face. Stand in front of the mirror, close your eyes and then open them. What was the first thing you noticed? Was it your face or the colour? If it was your face, then you have found your correct shade. If not, try again with one of the other shades.

2) Wear Yellow Accessories
If you can't find a shade of yellow you are comfortable with as an outfit but you still want to take part in the yellow trend, try incorporating a splash of yellow. Add a yellow handbag or yellow shoes. Yellow accessories can give your wardrobe a fresh, upbeat look without overpowering you with colour.

3) Wear Yellow Prints

If yellow tends to be unflattering on you, try choosing an eye catching print that has yellow mixed with colours that are more flattering to your hair and skin. Be sure to choose a print that will coordinate with some of the wardrobe items you already have. If you want to make a statement, pick a striking yellow and pair it with hot pinks, chilly reds, navy blues, periwinkles, etc. You will definitely make heads turn!
